Trinity YPC & Musical Theatre Graded Exams 2025
Kids’ Gallery is thrilled to announce the Trinity Young Performers Certificate (YPC) and Musical Theatre (MT) Graded Exams programmes, starting January 2025. This is a golden opportunity for young performers to shine on stage, build confidence, and achieve internationally recognized qualifications. The Trinity College London in-person exams are provisionally scheduled for Sunday, 9 March 2025. This is a good opportunity for students to test the skills learnt, gain more confidence and self-assurance, and achieve a recognised qualification. We highly recommend that students enter; however, participation is not compulsory.

Programmes Details:
Classes Begin: January 2025
Intensive Prep Dress Rehearsal: Sunday, 2 March (TBC)
Exam Day: Sunday, 9 March
Programmes Include:
- 8 Weekly Classes: Prepare for the big day through comprehensive training.
- 1 Intensive Prep Dress Rehearsal with Mock Exam: Polish performance skills and boost exam readiness.
- Exam Fee: Covered within the package for a seamless experience.
Young Performers Certificate | For Musical Theatre 1, 2 & 3
- Suitable for aged 3 years and above as of 9 March 2025
- Must be enrolled in Musical Theatre 1 / 2 / 3
- Every child who passes the graded examination will be awarded an individual certificate
- The examiner will also provide a group report on their performance, but there is no pass or fail grade
Musical Theatre Graded Exam | For Musical Theatre+ & Performing Circle
- Trinity Graded exams are designed to provide a structured learning framework that enables performers to develop skills up to an advanced level
- Students must be enrolled in Musical Theatre+ / Performing Circle
- Every child who passes the graded examination will be awarded an individual certificate
- The examiner will also provide a group report and marks for their performance
Levels, Themes, and Ages:
3-4 years: Musical Theatre 1 | Bronze - “Paw Patrol”
4-5 years: Musical Theatre 2 | Silver - “Sound of Music”
5-6 years: Musical Theatre 3 | Gold - “Moana”
6-8 years: Musical Theatre+ | Graded Exams (Grade 1-2) - “Matilda”
8+ years: Performing Circle | Graded Exams (Grade 2-5) - “Greatest Showman”
Important Notes:
Participants are required to attend all 8 classes and the Intensive Prep Dress Rehearsal.
Tuition fees for weekly classes are not included in the exam-package.
Provisional dates for the rehearsal and exams will be confirmed by the first week of February.
