Art Portfolio 4 introduces students to advanced art techniques in drawing, painting, sketching and multi-media. Build upon your technical skills in drawing, painting, sketching, and sculpting and advance to professional art media and materials that support impressive results. The focus is on skills-based learning experiences that provoke creative problem-solving. Explore art history and design principles to support your creative vision and develop your aesthetic sense.
Art Portfolio 1 is a natural progression in visual arts development as children are encouraged to imagine their own ideas and bring them to life through art. Enjoy hands-on experiments with visual arts techniques including drawing, painting, modelling, and printing through a playful and tactile approach. As a young artist, you'll build a sense of individuality through authentic creative processes and establish a strong understanding of art elements.
Art Portfolio 2 allows students to cultivate an active learning experience with challenging art activities. Learn the formal qualities of the seven art elements - line, shape, texture, form, space, colour, and value. Use your imagination to express yourself confidently with a wide range of art media and tools, and demonstrate an early appreciation of masterpieces and master artists.
